LBDC designed the original logo and business card in 2018. Since then the bakery has really made a name for itself.
They have been using the same ugly dogs with a pink playful palette for over 3 years and the owner, Macee Hicks, requested a rebrand.
She asked for the business to be green and look more natural. She informed LBD that her customers are the type of people to take their dogs on hikes and be outdoors so she wants the brand to reflect that and mature.
The bakery sells all natural dog treats. They're slogan is "Good treats for good dogs
The bakery will have new packaging in the near future and would like a fresh look. They are switching to eco-friendly packaging. Because of the change they want a brand that feels more like nature.
Original Artwork & Logo Designed by LBDC in 2018
These are the marks are inspired by the French Paper Company's Mr. French and Portland Pet Food. The marks are designed with printing in mind. I chose to use a single color to reduce the cost of printing to help with funds as the company continues to grow.
The dogs have been simplified and utilize a single color palette for easy printing in the future.
The wordmark is effective and compliments the dog graphic.
Designs are effective and flexible for multiple applications; labels, sticker, pins, social media profile image, etc.
A custom printed item is sure to enhance the overall presence of a business. They are usually inexpensive to produce and bring a sense of novelty to the brand.
100 pins were manufactured for this project. Macee hands one out to new customers with every purchase.
Great touch for handing over invoices, coupons, receipts, thank yous, checks, money, etc.
Every "touch point" matters. This card is meant to be printed on brown high quality recycled card stock.
Digital applications are key touch points and should stay consistent with the brand.
